Product Description
This is a 4 channel (4 outputs) opto-isolator for controlling a larger DC switch. This 16-pin dip can be used in conjunction with relays, small motors, etc. to control larger loads, or to allow a microcontroller to turn on and off up to 50mA directly through this device. These completely isolate the output pin from the load and will protect your microcontroller from any damage if things get shorted on the output side up to many thousands of volts.
