Build Madison is back!<\/h2>\n

The 24-hour community \u201ccreate-a-thon\u201d\u00a0returns to Sector67 on November 19 starting at 11am. Project presentations begin at 11am on Sunday, November 20.<\/h3>\n
\"\"We\u2019re excited to announce the 7th annual Build Madison event coordinated by Capital Entrepreneurs<\/a> and hosted at\u00a0Sector67<\/a>.\u00a0 Build Madison is a 24 hour hackathon that gives you the opportunity to set aside some time over the weekend to finally get to that project you\u2019ve been thinking about for a long time!<\/div>\n

The weekend starts out on\u00a0Saturday, November 19th<\/span><\/span>, at\u00a011am<\/span><\/span>, when we\u2019ll host 30 second idea pitches. \u00a0After that you can join a team or build a team if you need one to work on your project. \u00a0Then when\u00a011AM\u00a0on Sunday<\/span>\u00a0swings around we’ll\u00a0have a short project presentations and\/or sharing of lessons learned (aka: why my project didn\u2019t quite get done in time!) from everyone who participated.<\/div>\n

That\u2019s as simple as it is \u2013 take the 24 hour period as seriously or as inquisitively as you\u2019d like. In the past, projects have varied from very sophisticated to very basic, software to hardware, art to engineering \u2013 so don\u2019t feel like your concept isn\u2019t going to fit in \u2013 it will. \u00a0There’s no requirement to stay up all night, many people work late into the evening and stop back in the morning for presentations.<\/div>\n

When:<\/strong>\u00a0November 19th\u00a0at 11AM\u00a0<\/span><\/span>through the 20th, with project presentations starting at\u00a011AM<\/span><\/span>\u00a0on the 20th that are open to anyone (not just participants)<\/div>\n
Why:<\/strong>\u00a0A great excuse to focus on a project for a weekend and meet with other interesting folks too<\/div>\n
