I had the opportunity to head over to the Discovery Center this week to check out their 3D printing facilities. They have a SLA<\/a>, FDM<\/a> and are looking into an SLS<\/a> machine.

In the lobby of the new building are a number of cool 3d models demonstrating a variety of capabilities:

Poking around a little further into the labs reveals a full dinosaur on a print tray ready to be cleaned up:
