Hey guys,
UW Rock County's Society of Student Engineers has a couple of major (for us, at least) projects upcoming, and would appreciate input from anyone with related experience. We don't have hard dates yet, so I'll update as events develop.
1. We've voted to allocate funds for a rep-rap machine. We will be ordering the unit sometime before the end of the semester, and in all liklihood be working on it over the summer. Would anyone care to offer their experiences with rep-rap and/or 3D printers in general?
2. UW Rock County's Student Government Association has asked us to build a dunk tank. We're still waiting for them to approve funding, and we think we've got a design, but again, would welcome advice from anyone who has done this before.

I know I haven't followed up in a while, but we did order the unit, and construction's been proceeding in fits and starts. At least it was until one of the students picked up on it, and ran with it. We're almost done, now.
