Hello,
Couple of Notes!Feel free to drop by the space and say "hi", we're always open to visitors, even if you're not a member

. We also have a surprising lack of software developers stopping in; we have warm chairs, extra LCD monitors (and a giant TV), music, and cookies! Alright, I'm lying about the cookies, but seriously it wouldn't hurt to see more software people (and artists!) swing on in.

the space will continue to be free to swing by and hang out at, we just can't provide you with any tools/materials/storage if you're not a member - so please feel free to stop by anytime
the space is open (call 608-241-4605 if you're wondering whether anyone is here). If you're interested in becoming a member swing on by, it's 2 whole sheets of paper and handing over cash/check/Paypal, there are now 12 of us!!! Opportunity - Invention to Venture - THIS FRIDAY 12/3I wanted to let you guys know about the Invention to Venture day this Friday, cost to register is $10 - it's free however if you register for the elevator pitch competition. See
the blog post for more information and to register, should be a great day with food included in the registration!
Monthly Meeting - 12/7 - 7pmYes, it's been another month and it's certainly gotten colder out! This month we'll have presentations from Larry on what LiveCode is and how to interface it with an Arduino. We can probably convince Scott to give us a gear making injection molder demo and perhaps Branden will now be pressured into having the RepStrap printing by next Tuesday o:-) . Aric will also be stopping by with his MakerBot that's in need of a calibration which is a great excuse to print off some test parts. I'll try to get the soda machine running as well, so all in all it should be an action packed evening! Hope to see you there.
Questions/comments/complaints always welcome.
Chris
