Dear UW-Madison graduate students:

We are now taking registrations for our first-ever Wisconsin Cyberinfrastructure Day (CI Day), which will be held on November 5, 2010 at the Golda Meir Library Conference Center at UW-Milwaukee. You can register and get more details at http://wisconsin.cidays.org. The preliminary program posted at the website is largely set, and will be updated until the day of the event.

Research success is enhanced through a cyberinfrastructure that balances people, technology, processes, and data. If you’d like to learn how your colleagues at both public and private Wisconsin institutions of higher education are using cyberinfrastructure to support their research endeavors then plan to attend, and tell your colleagues!

Many of the CI Day sessions will be streamed over the Internet and group viewing stations will be set up at locations on the following campuses.

Funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation and Internet2, this conference will be relevant to all disciplines and will include presentations from the sciences, engineering, and the digital humanities.
