Get Back to your Roots! LEGO Hacking Competition - Saturday 4/9 3-8pm
Having recieved little interest in a formalized LEGO Mindstorms NXT competition this Saturday, we're changing up the event. The space is open from 3pm-8pm, we'll be starting out at 3:30pm with an introduction to LEGO Mindstorms NXT systems. The basics behind the Mindstorms system will be presented and you'll be challenged to create a robot from scratch, program it, and score as many points as possible in a single course run. On the line is a $50 Sector67 gift certificate redeemable for the instructional costs of any classes offered (you can't use it for the materials charge on any class, we would loose too much money on that deal
) The spirit of this competition is to show up with little knowledge of the NXT system and have some fun. If you're an experienced FIRST competitor we hope you'll help us out by teaching others how to use the kits!
MadHackerHaus 2 - 04/16

All of the engineering campus is entirely open to the public, with many millions of dollars in research budgets on display and a lot of hands on exhibits available to you. If you want to see all of the displays allocate about 6 hours of your day!
