WARF DEBUTS GILSON BOOTSTRAPPING SERIES AT DISCOVERY TOWN CENTER ON JAN. 25

MADISON - Allen Dines of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Office of Corporate Relations will be the first speaker featured in WARF's new Gilson Bootstrapping Series. He will discuss the wide variety of resources available to new entrepreneurs, or to those just thinking about starting a business, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

The seminar, "A Guide to Navigating the Madison Ecosystem for New Ventures," will be the first Gilson event held at the series' new home in the Forum of the Town Center at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery, located on the UW-Madison campus between University Avenue and Campus Drive at 330 N. Orchard St.

A networking reception will follow the program at 6 p.m. Free public parking is available starting at 4:30 p.m. in nearby Lot 20, located across the street from the Town Center on University Avenue, as well as in Lot 17 near Engineering. While registration is not required, those interested in attending can help ensure appropriate seating is available by submitting brief information at http://gilsonseries.org.

Other topics to be presented at future Gilson Bootstrapping seminars include:

- Operational First Steps to Opening a High Tech Business
