I took the Arduino 101 class and can see lots of potential for this. I would like to know where I can find parts for the project I have in mind. I'll need servos and proximity sensors that can be integrated with an arduino controller.
Any suggestions?

I don't know Madison too well, but I usually don't trust price and quality of electronic components at any store. I got burned too much by Rad Shack in Platteville when going to school. I would just go to Sparkfun.com to get good hobbyist parts, they have great documentation, and user comments to help you work with their products.
