If you saw my presentation on small-scale plastic injection molding, you probably heard me reference a different (in essence version 2) injector design that uses a drill press to provide more stable vertical force. The S67 WWII era drill press should be just about perfect, so I'm in the process of gathering up the needed materials to fabricate this injection molder, to be donated to the space.

If you're interested to participate or watch, just let me know. The main fabrication includes:

* Some turning, boring and facing on a small metal lathe (I could bring mine to the space for this if folks are interested)
* Thread tapping
* Drilling
* A small amount of electrical work on the temperature controller and heaters

It will take me some time to gather up the rest of what I need, but let me know if you are interested.
