Hello, I am a student at UW Madison working on a design team competition (building a quad copter). Long story short I am looking to make plastic ducts for my fan blades. My plan is to make a cylindrical looking wood block (see pic) to then thermoform a plastic sheet over to make the duct shape (see pic). I was referred to Sector because no one at the university is willing to turn wood on their Lathe or Mill it either. I have attached images of the modeled wooden block and the finished product. The wood cylinder block would be about 13 inches in diameter. Someone told me you could probably help with both the turning of the wood and the thermoforming of the duct to boot! which would be awesome! Can sector help me out??
