SpokePOV soldering kit from Adafruit, more information on their site. Are your kids building the kits you buy them in under 10 minutes? This kit will keep them busy for a few hours – lots of parts to put on the board. These are awesome for bicycle wheels, ceiling fans, or anywhere else you can attach them firmly that spins. Keep in mind you’ll need an external programmer and an understanding of the pattern designer software to get it making cool stuff, we can certainly help you on the programmer front when it comes time to flash the board.
